Before kids I thought surely, date nights will be a HUGE priority. I’d heard it suggested by so many other veteran moms to get out with your hubby. Sounds great – I thought – we’ll do it! I mean – why not?! Who wouldn’t pass up a night out??!!!

Now as all of you know – getting out after kids is not always that easy – right? Because of this we were so excited when Allison with Mom Index asked us to guest blog about our Friday Date Night ideas. So that’s exactly what we’re going to do. 1) 25 Degrees. Anytime I hear about a new posh little burger joint I get so excited! I realize there are plenty of those in the Valley, but when the Hollywood-based 25 Degrees opened in CityNorth last summer I was among the many arranging childcare for a chance to try this casual, yet upscale dining experience.

2) Sassi. There’s no need to spend a fortune on airline tickets to Italy when you have a perfect little Italian villa in Scottsdale – Sassi. With its first-rate Italian cuisine, Sass’s southern Italian menu is to die for…not to mention the GORGEOUS scenery. Definitely a must try for all you momma’s!

3)Los Sombreros. I know, I know. Mexican restaurants are on nearly every corner in this city! Well after visiting 20+ of them we’ve found or favorite! Los Sombreros is the cutest little place and is big on charm. Specializing in regional Mexican food, Los Sombreros offers some of the best authentic Mexican food in the Phoenix area.
